Foods that I have eaten in Los Angeles between 5/10 - 5/16
Homemade Soup and Sandwich: Chipotle chicken, Guacamole, Cilantro, Chipotle Mayonaise on a Sourdough Wheat. Soup: African coconut soup with Tomatoes, Blackeyed Peas, Rice, Coconut Milk, and Green Peppers.

Gringo Bánh mì: It’s on white bread not french bread, but it was still good. Keep em coming Flix. (Flix is the commissary at LA Center Studios)

Best Fish Tacos Ensenada:Shrimp taco and fish taco with Mango salsa, cabbage, crema, and “hot guac.”

Malo’s Chilaquiles: They have a decent brunch. For the uninitiated chilaquiles are fried tortillas dipped in a sauce. Many variations, mostly based on left overs. This one had sour cream, eggs, green onions, tomatoes, and avocado.

African Vegetable Stew: Homemade, it’s good. Uncertain if that step about adding the uncooked rice was really the best decision. Chard, Yams, Garbanzos, Yellow Raisins, Onions, Garlic.
